When is Series I being released?

Who will have the figures available?
Of course, all MINDstyle Premium retailers will have the figures and just about everywhere fine mini figures are sold.

What is the production size:
As with most mini figures -- the production runs are traditionally open. We can tell you the following:
There are less than 2000 of any one figure made of Series I;
There are only 300 secret figures randomly packed;

Just how limited are the exclusives?
Only 200 pieces of each exclusive will be available worldwide and in a few cases, there could be more, and there even may be less in other events with extremely rare color ways.
What is the price for exclusives?
SRP: $15.00
Why do exclusives cost more?
Exclusives are produced separate from the production run; and in limited amounts by industry standards. Traditionally, there are minimum quantities set by the factory to open production. So, with only 200 or even less, the figures simply cost more to manufacture and are instantly of greater value.
When will the exclusives be released?
There will be two exclusives available at SDCC with additional versions on a monthly basis
Can I buy exclusives released online or where I live?
It will depend on the retailer but all show exclusives are available to Art Toys Society (ATS) members.
Who did the box design?
Again, Rob Schwager worked with Kathie on an amazing design.
Who does the packaging?
MINDstyle creative takes pride in working with the respective artist on bringing their vision to market from concept to finished product.
What is the special packaging all about?
The flip top gift box is closed by a magnet and comes with a slip cover. We've found collectors find the packaging equally as important, so we've made every effort to create something that is worth keeping.
Kathie's products are high in demand and quickly rise in value, why doesn't MINDstyle simply produce more figures?
In most cases, the production run and color ways are discussed with the artist at the start of a project not knowing the demand. At MINDstyle, the artist has final approval on all products manufactured. Our goal has been to produce quality products that meet our high standards.
How can I make my own custom?
Fans and collectors will be happy to know that DIY do-it-yourself versions of MASAO, AUBRIE and DEXTER will be available for a limited time at retailers and events.
When is Series II be released?
The exact date has not been set, but it will be in the 3rd quarter of this year.
Days Of Mourning
Our hearts are with the people of central China impacted by last weeks devastating earthquake. Sichuan province is home to our international office manager, Liu Qin Hua who is especially saddened by by the number of students and children affected by this tragedy. Our entire MINDstyle family extends are thoughts and prayers. We are currently coordinating a goodwill project for the people of central China. It's been our mission to bring smiles and make a difference in the lives of others, especially at a time when many need our help.
With our international office and factories in China, we have a very special attachment and respect for the people. It is our hope you will joing us in our efforts.
NYCC 2008
It's finally here and now plans begin for the grand daddy of them all in San Diego. If you're in New York City be sure to stop by our booth #1313 at the Javits Convention Center for New York Comic Con. As you can see, MINDstyle is well represented with many of the newest products from its family of artists. Several are making the trip: Buff Monster, Kathie Olivas, Brandt Peters, Ewok 5MH and even Sket-One. Plus, there are limited edition collectibles available.
THE WAIT IS OVER!
It all goes down this weekend at New York Comic Con. The ultra rare hand painted NYCC Mexican Red Bird by Kathie Olivas will be available at the MINDstyle booth #1313 starting at 12 Noon on Saturday, April 19th. With only 25 pieces in the world, this is one art toy many fans will want. In fact, it was a Red Bird figure that was stolen from one of her recent gallery shows in San Francisco! The retail price is $250.00. Kathie will be signing from 12:30PM to 2:30PM with Brandt Peters. If you're in New York City, please be sure to join us at the Javits Convention Center.
In Just 2 Days...
The word is out... Buff monster new 3" Metallic Pink Squirt figure will be released at NYCC. Edition size is 200 pieces. The price is $30.

There's No Avoiding It...
Tax deadline is here and to help cool things off is the release of MINDstyle's Ice Cream Flavorways Mini Figures Series II by Buff Monster. Just in time for New York Comic Con -- Series II comes in a variety of tasty flavors like Mint Chocolate Chip, Rocky Road, Vanilla and Coconut to name a few. The new mini figures are now available at your favorite retailer or online. Surely many booths will have them at NYCC from My Plastic Heart to Toy Cube and My Plastic Heart. For those in New York City, be sure to stop by MINDstyle's booth #1313 on Saturday, April 19th from 11:00AM to 12 Noon to have Buff sign your figures. These tasty treats are only $5.99 each and available for a limited time only.
Membership Has Its Privileges
A second NYCC Copper version paint master from the highly anticipated Mechtorians mini figure series will be available to Art Toys Society members only. ATS members will be able to reserve their copy of Stephen LePod through the 1045 Showroom for shipment or pick up their reserved copy at MINDstyle booth #1313. A confirmation will be sent to the members with detailed instructions. As the edition is limited to 10, orders will be randomly selected from ATS members wishing to make a purchase even if not attending NYCC.
In addition, Platinum ATS members will be able to purchase one of five ultra rare original version resin paint masters. The original blue paint master is based on Doktor A's Explorer figure from his upcoming MINDstyle series. The NYCC exclusive Stephen LePod resin paint masters will retail for $199.99. If you're wondering, solicitations will be made directly by email to ATS members. Clearly, an ATS membership has its privileges.
Five Days and Counting... Most Unusual
With one of the most anticipated art toy releases of the year, the good Doktor A and MINDstyle are releasing ten (10) resin paint masters of the Mr. Head figure from the upcoming Mechtorians Series I. These hand painted and highly detailed resin masters will certainly be a must have for any collector and fan of Doktor A. Known as one of the industry's best toy customizers, Doktor A has made a name for himself with his unique style and amazing attention to detail.
Not to be confused with his vinyl toy figures in production, these resin figures are rare paint masters that have seldom been made available to the public. The resin paint masters are done on a one to one scale (with 7% for
shrinkage) based on his mini figure series. The NYCC exclusive Mr. Head paint masters will retail for $199.99 and go on sale 4PM at the MINDstyle booth #1313 on Friday, April 18th. Limit one per customer.
Six Days and Counting Till Pop Culture Invades NYC!
MINDstyle is excited to be a part of one of the hottest conventions with its family of artists, exclusive releases and new products. We are pleased to announce EWOK 5MH will be at our MINDstyle booth #1313 on Saturday, April 19th at 3PM. There are 25 pieces of the NYCC Gold Horselington being released for the event out of the super limited production run of 50 pieces worldwide. The world of GERMS is brought to us by the insanely talented Jaime Zacarias who has been known to use narrative imagery, graffiti art and found surfaces as inspiration. Best known for his luchador-headed germ-carrying figures, this is one artist to keep an eye out for his original "low brown style."
